How to Stay Safe When Buying and Selling in Jamnagar
Most people you meet through a local directory are exactly who they say they are. A few are not. These are the habits that keep the difference from costing you anything.
Meet in a Public Place
Do the handover somewhere busy and well lit — a market, a shop front, near Ranmal Lake, a petrol pump. Daylight is better than evening. - A request for an advance, a booking fee or a token payment before you have met
- Pressure to pay by UPI or bank transfer to someone you have never spoken to face to face
- A story about being out of town, in the army, or needing a courier to deliver
- An offer to overpay and have you refund the difference
